M8 for windows user, 09 Mar 2018Windows mobile does not exist anymore at least on smartphon... moreI know. My lumia is now owned by my mother. She does not need to much stuff. I jumped on the androud wagon, a really unpolisched one. Sincerly, i waited a lot more from a system that everybody praises so much, apparently, afte more then 10 years of developement, is still 10 years behing symbian.

I think Microsoft decision makers are changed for better.
Microsoft's unintentional strategy from old days turn the company into billions of desktops today.
Microsoft, instead of trying to compete with those of Android and iOS is doing something strategic.
Pre 1980's Microsoft was software developer for other platforms. Since 1984 when many companies and business customers were familiar with Microsoft in Computer field, they decided to develop a OS from absolute zero point base.
For mobile, they got confused about desktop reputation and did what they must not.
Now, people who are familiar with Android, will focus on Android brands, instead of switching continuously among different Operating Systems.
Microsoft created Arrow Launcher to find potential customers for its brand.
Those who downloaded the launcher from play store in 2015-10 were more than those who ordered Lumia current and upcoming handsets.
When Arrow Launcher reached 1M download, the name changed to Microsoft Launcher.
Now, more than 10M people around the world know that Microsoft has something to do in mobile industry seriously.
Until 2025, when downloaded Launcher, reaches +200M, Microsoft will introduce the a healthy, popular and global mobile OS.
If Microsoft change this current strategy, another failure will be recorded in the company's history.

Don't know why everyone is so surprised. They even sell the Razer phone. Money is money, no matter how you get it. And the pre-installed apps are not installed, they are stub versions which leads to their Play Store pages for you to install. So they only use barely KBs on your 64GB storage. That's only huge for MS-DOS standards.

For example, if I disable a 70 MB app that came with my phone, the disabled one takes much less, maybe 30 MB (old version of the app before updates), so you do save some space, sometimes.

If you said to me 5 years ago that Microsoft will sell Google Android phones, I wouldn't believe you, I, and many others, would call you insane and out of your mind.
Instead of buying Nokia, they could have spent these several billions on MW apps or making the ecosystem better, or even spend these money on better Android apps.
Or even much much better give it to me :P

The more important part is the price. It's similar to the S8 from the day it was first released. And I thought these will cost around $900 - $1000.
