It's that simple, no site for phone, no hits.
Your fantasy phone which you are talking about had specs page and it was somehow interesting phone and people visited the specs site a lot and it got place from the trending list.
Why don't you just say what phone you mean?

Look this https://www.gsmarena.com/samsung-phones-9.php all Samsung phones, there's no Note 9 on that list. Until it's in that list it can't be on trending list.
"Gsma shared fantasy phones" and no again Gsmarena doesn't share anything, these trending lists are made by us visiting different phone specs sites and which gets most clicks in that week timeline are on the list.

Like i said, what part from my comment you didn't understand when i said they have SPECS PAGE? Funny part is that you actually said it yourself, "Rumored phones with guessing specs" oh well where did you find those guessing specs, oh wait from SPECS page.
Again this list has nothing to do with having phone in production or available or coming soon, as long as the phone has specs site with guessing specs or official it doesn't matter as long as we can check those pages and that invidual phone gets clicks.
No-one can't click Note 9 specs site because it DOESN'T EXIST, that's why Note 9 can't be on the list.

We don't have that for pixel 3 so it can't be on the list. Neither Note 9. And even If those phones would have had specs page, it would also mean they have to have lot of daily hits.

Indian people love xiaomi phones, cheap but powerful..
