Anonymous, 12 Mar 2018Yeah this fix it yourself bs is out of date nowadays there ... moreWarranty doesn't cover for physical damage genius, you crack or even chip the phone it voids the warranty as there is no way to prove the drop didn't cause any faults with the phone. also water damage isn't covered under manufactures warranty they open the phone and see signs of it they just close it back up and send it back saying you'll need to get another.

Relatifely low StB ratio at this point. : lmao it has one of the highest Screen to body ratio
New Samsung is like pre iphone X Apple. A follower, very few features, high price, bad repailability : Pre Iphone X ? post your whole comment on Iphone X, it might make more sense

Talking about and praising the S5 now ? Seriously ? Whatever happened to all the band-aid phone comments, puns and how cheap plastic is and so on ? What happened to needing a flap ? Premium materials like Nokia, Sony and Apple ? who didn't provide removable battery and it was just a useless feature anyways, right ?
Do people really not understand things like physical limitation anymore ? If someone is going to cram in so much into such little space, it's going to get that much harder to repair. Samsung still leaves a headphone jack inside, micro-sd slot, now with the dual aperture camera, all the other sensors, having tiny bezels, glass back and more.
Not every person who buys a phone wants to repair it themselves . . . but every one wants the sleekest design jam packed with features . . . And swinging that way makes more sense for Samsung.
So everyone just needs to take a chill pill already, sheeesh my rant ends here.

S5 and S5 mini say hello to water resistance and user-removable battery it is the only 1 generation they did it this way.
Will S9 be water resistant after assembling back again?

It's easier to void warranty if everything is so difficult to do yourself.
It's also so that you can't tamper with it, sue Samsung if anything goes wrong after, and get away with it.
(The money profit thing comes somewhere after)

Samsung Galaxy S9 phone is the best phone to have features, but worse when it comes to durability and repairbility. Might as well buy a Google pixel 2 or Nokia6 because they are so easy to repair.
