I don't really get it. Why do they have to release the same device with different names in different markets? It will just be confusing common folks.

Merwyn Fernandes, 13 Mar 2018Dont worry Buddy if you dont like notches dont buy the phon... moreI'm pretty sure more people dislike the notch, except maybe like you've said - the people who don't even care about phones. Even GSMArena is not too fond of it. What makes it even worse is that 2018 is the notch year.

Huawei would surely benefit from launching their Kirin chipsets earlier in the year. The current cadence has them on top or on par right at the end of a year. They launch some phones and get around 3 months, in possibly the worst launch window, is over Christmas. During that time the Snapdragons for the coming year are announced, and it must take the wind out of their sails. Come CES/MWC other phones are leaked/announced with the new Snapdragons/exynos and it leaves Huawei throwing out phones with dated tech.

Why does Huawei has to use the same midranger chipset? Can they just make a new one from scratch?

Thab33f, 13 Mar 2018I would like to start a campaign against notches and have d... moreDont worry Buddy if you dont like notches dont buy the phone. Simple as that I personally dont have anything against notches so as the masses do you think that just because you dont like them companies will stop making them.

Companies make phones for the Masses not some tech enthusiasts that comment over here.

So you will be better off buying another phone cause the masses want phones with notches or its dosent really matter to them.

So there is no use in ranting over here

I would like to start a campaign against notches and have decided to call it "NO-tch"
