Ironboned, 27 Mar 2018Dude a personal experience is no fact. Please make it clear... moreLike I said, the Mali right now is still has a far way to catch up to the Adreno GPU in gaming, and I've test the Mali GPU in some of the heavy game titles like Asphalt 8(blood sucking freaks) slightly framedrops at max settings, Honkai Impact 3rd with LTE and set to max settings and got some framedrops between 2-3 battles, GTA SA experience framedrops, glitch, and crashes(the fault by Rockstar for still not fixing those errors, used to played it on the Galaxy S5 on medium settings and don't see any glitches, just sometimes crash), Bully on max settings got lots of framedrops, GTA LCS got framedrops too. So there you go, my "best" experience of the S8 in gaming department, but it's actually very good in the camera department and miserablely bad at gaming. The new Nokia 8 that I've recently bought performs gaming better in every single way.

Ironboned, 27 Mar 2018Dude a personal experience is no fact. Please make it clear... moreyou can compare the benchmarks in gaming and emulator gaming... exynos has 20 fps where snapdragon has more than 30 fps... that is a diference to be playable or not
dolphin and ps2 with 845 are better
sd845 is the best currently for gaming
but for gaming I wish a bigger screen. Bigger than 6.4" is a must for me

Please make it clear why do you think Exynos is weaker than Snapdragon ? when we talk about GPU Exynos 9810 can easily handle 4k at 120fps and 960fps slow-mo at 1080p as well but Snpdragon needed to be bumped up and get some boosts to handle 4k at 60fps and 960fps 720p, it's all about GPU and as we all know even Exynos 8895 could handle 4k at 60fps but because samsung wanted to keep USA and rest of the world's market same so they limited 4k recording at 30fps and it's again all about GPU. it's not personal experience it is a fact. so if we stick to facts like these we see Exynos is better in term of GPU power (since we're talking only about GPU). i would appreciate it if you post some results in deferent games which shows Snapdragon is better than Exynos.
Btw. I'm not a Samsung fan, I'm not fan of any company at all. Samsung devices have enough problems to talk about but CPU/GPU, Camera and Display are definitely not one of them.

Heck I've used a S8+ with a Exynos before, but I have to changed it to my current phone which is the Nokia 8 because that thing is kinda weak.

I'm no Samsung fan or any manufacturer and i hate all fan boys cause they are stupid as hell but man you can not compare Exynos 9810 vs Snapdragon 835 or 845 cause Exynos 9810 is much better and if you're looking for the best god bless 10nm Kirin 970(if we're talking about GPU)

Does Xiaomi cheat in Benchmarks again or it is a overclocked and overheated device ?

Unfortunately there's no 1080p phone using that SoC, so onscreen test is hard to do. Offscreen test, however, shows Adreno has enough advantages to look down at Mali. Snapdragon is still the best for performance per square millimeter, where it's the smallest SoC in high end group, so vendors can put bigger battery to phones using the SoC.

No data for Adreno 630 yet, of course. We'll see about that in upcoming months.

For example, a guy make a video about Oneplus 5t and GS9+ testing dolphin emulator. While the S9+ has about 10-19 fps, the Oneplus 5t has 10 fps more than the S9+ with the Exynos chipset. So, is the Exynos with the Mali GPU good for gaming? NO! It can be good at loading apps faster but it can't never beat the Qualcomm with the Adreno GPU at gaming ever! Qualcomm has more optimization for games and the performance is perfect enough for heavy gaming.

In general 9810 destroys 845 in CPU department and it is very close to A11 performance. 845 is massive dissapointment, falling behind not only King of chipsets A11 but against clearly exynos 9810, Qualcomm chipsets are no longer something special.
