Glad to see Sony updating their lower mid range lineup. Previously, Sony abandoned the C4 and C5 fairly quickly.

Good. Now release the thousand Sony fans bashing other brands because they aren't as fast.

They say that Sony can update their phones faster because of little to no changes and very boring experience, but the truth is, the changes are inside the software like how fast or smooth it is to operate and the way the new software manages battery efficiency. A silky smooth, consistent, and top notch performance is, and never will, be boring.
Others take a lot longer to update because of their unnecessary cr*ps pre-installed in the software. Sony's software just has everything a person needs in his life using the phone. Any additional features are nice, but mostly can be had in the Play Store, and be uninstalled when not needed, saving up some free storage space.

Here we are, Sony has updated all his phones, even the last year's models.
                    Great job!

                        Devices with android 8.0 : X Performance, X, XZ, X Compact, XA1, XA1 Ultra, XA1 Plus, XZs, XZ Premium, XZ1, XZ1 Compact, XA2, XA2 Ultra, XZ2 and XZ2 Compact.

I think at least they should give 7.1 to L1, because L2 has it.
                        Both use same CPU.
