That is electronic layer, embedded softwares, communications protocol, servers, web and mobile interface. The pentest on the electrical side,embedded softwares, and communication protocol concern vulnerabilities more specifically the IoT.
There are three types of attacks on connected objects and embedded systems. Software attack, non-invasive and invasive hardware attacks. The first take advantage of software vulnerabilities, the second recover information from the hardware without damaging it while the third involve opening the components and therefore destroying them in order to be able to extract secrets. While the first two types of attacks do not require many resources, this is not thecase for invasive attacks, for which very expensive equipment is requires.

Anna update finally arrived a whopping 2 months after this article was published! At least the update was worth it though.

Hi, I downloaded the Symbian Anna and honestly, it's not as great as it's been made out to be!
Now I want to revert to the earlier S3 version and am unable to do so! What can be done to regain the old version of the OS?

If you are having problem with getting Anna via Ovi Suite, try uninstalling, download the newest version and it should find Anna. At least that helped me (Czech Republic). If you are trying to download Anna via OTA and its not working I cant help you. Myself I had a few problems, but Im rolling on Anna now and thinking about downloading Belle beta :)

My N8 is b... moreActually I wanted to go to any SingTel shop and find out why I cannot get the Anna update for my N8 but before that, I checked this webpage at Nokia Singapore's website: http://www.nokia.com.sg/anna?intc=ncompromolp-fw-ilc-hero-symbiananna_756x252-na-nokiacom-sg-en-1todtmt809140 then I found out that Symbian Anna is not ready in Singapore yet so no use for me to even go to any Nokia Care Centre islandwide as I will get the same answer also.
So Singaporean owners of Nokia's N8, E7, C7 and C6-01 should check that webpage I mentioned to see when the update's ready in S'pore or buy either of their two "Comes with Anna" phones, the E6 or X7 for a quick Symbian Anna experience than wait for the update.

Anna ota update aviable in south africa. preffer old systerm better. i hate the icons and whatsAPP is very slow. phone frezzzes for no reason sometimes. The phone is slower. Hate it wish i never do it

Start the ota upload to every country nokia server. B/c you had not done this, about 80% of the s^3 owners complain of not having anna. Anyway, i think i'm sounding a little bitter, but you have to deserve this since you are trying not to live up to what i know u for, 'connecting people'. Pls, i hate using system 2 manage a phone which ought to be a system, so you can do away with ovisuite update crap, and keep the world's population on a handy update, ota...if you can do this, my wife who is pregnant, is going to have her child's name to be Nokia. Permit me to say, 'i still love you, nokia'.
