Compare it to 808, 1020 stills, to the rest in good light/low light performance with their ''lossless'' 12mp output and to other tele lens in low light with their hybrid zoom and f1.6 sensor.

I hope this is the next step in the Camera Wars.
I hope this means Google, Samsung, HTC, Sony all have to up their game to another level too.

Big resolution camera needs a big sensor like the one found on the Lumia 1020 or 808. I'm skeptical about the quality, but let's wait for the reviews.

kai, 27 Mar 2018digital lossless zoom? huawei thought we are idiot? there i... moreLossless zoom is still better than conventional digital zoom which simply crops an image and enlarge it, since it uses secondary monochrome sensor(which captures much higher amount of details with less noise) to recover some of the details lost by zooming. It isn't excellent(though still plenty good) when you're shooting photos in brightly lit conditions, but this one remains usable even under lowlight conditions unlike telephoto lens because it doesn't use an optically inferior secondary camera to zoom into a subject, but instead uses information gained from the main sensor.

Anonymous, 27 Mar 2018Huawei can’t make QHD+ displays? Such cheapskates That's because nobody apart from Samsung makes high-quality QHD OLED panel and those panels are reserved for their own flagship smartphones. Other phones with QHD OLED panel either have issues with long-term performance/brightness or both (e.g. LG V30). When Mate 10 Pro was released, Huawei easily could cheap out by opting for subpar P-OLED panel like Nokia and Google did, but they didn't, instead they went for the highest quality panel available at that time even though it would sacrifice the high resolution.

digital lossless zoom? huawei thought we are idiot? there is never any digital zoom which is lossless. And I saw the so called "lossless zoom" on the Mate 10, definitely much worse compare to "real" optical zoom on many other phones today.

P20's back is just as gorgeous as Xperias but that NOTch turned me completely down.
I am not a fan of Notch, rather a hard hater. Sorry!!

The regular Mate 10 now looks like the better deal, IMO.

Everyone commenting about the notch, it's a phase folks. It will be a thing of the past soon enough, my only concern is the patent process for under display camera and proximity sensors. If one company files a patent that only "they" can produce a "bezel free" device from top to bottom, then it causes complications for competitors.

We also heard that the pro would have splash resistance, like p10 plus. So I hope the ip67/68 will be the right rumor.

This is the phone that all Pureview fans have been waiting for... let's hope it's as good as it sounds.

The bragging game will have to live upto the expectations. The best attempt at mirroring a DSLR, should do well else that notched 3.5mm debarred glass slab will find it difficult going forward.
