And on top of everything, it's even more expensive :))
Last I recall, Huawei was a brand people would buy because they couldn't afford a Samsung, Sony, Pixel. Now their phones are more than those!
I for one wouldn't use a china brand even if they payed me daily!
There's a reason they were banned in the US..

For a person like me who basicly wants a phone without a camera (or maybe a 5MP one just to use cam-scanner and barcodes) this phone is last year specs with a new color. Samsung, Xiaomi and now Huawei only focusing on cameras. Screw the cameras . I rather go with the new Mongoose chipset and have more HW power then camera, or go with the almost bezel-less Xiaomi that can run custom ROMS or has more optional themes. And the 900EUR for a Huawei is just in Iphone territory , even the S9+ is like 875 EUR. I mean WTF is wrong with these manufacturers. Don't take me wrong always "wore" a flagship for the past 7 years (S1,S3,Note2,Note3,Iphone6/6s,S6edge,S7edge and now S8+) but but but waiting for Oneplus or even the Pixel. I know Oneplus is chinese and even Xiaomi but at least they price it accordingly not 900EUR for a rip-off IphoneX in the back /Oneplus5 in the front , or even a you name it Samsung and with a "pretty" colour like Twilight . Really ? Good luck at selling it (at least in our country) where everybody buys Samsung/Apple as flagships and mid-range Samsung/Huawei and some other brands. So know your place Huawei=mid-range with your recycled specs.

We should thank Huawei for breaking the monotonous boring smartphone industry with some actual innovation.

Dxo just rated this the highest phone by a considerable margain. Some of the samples are very good indeed easily crushing the iPhone, s9 and pixel 2, as a galaxy owner I gotta say they look very good.....im keen to see real world samples and day to day usage but might pick one of these up

Excellent camera and amazing sensor size at a huge 1/1.7.
But why didn't apple patent the notch if they can patent a rectangle with rounded corners.

Interesting to see the camera prowess of the pro: it appears to be a huge step towards innovation in the smartphone camera department. But ugly notch and ugly chin and ugly emui plus ridiculous pricing all make it another huawei disappointment. It's too bad, that camera is bound to be amazing.

Notch can be taken down. It is an OLED for p20 pro. A bit old processor, but the camera upgrade is huge. And please mention the Dxo mark scores as it had blown away the competition.

You can turn it off, is that 100% of companies doesn't have the technology to do a REAL 20 by 10 full screen display without taking out any sensor in the front pleb
No, Apex doesn't count. Periscope cameras can break down over time.
