glad i bought pebble 2 se last year and installed all necessary things.. i love this pebble especially its 3rd party watchfaces..i hope xiaomi can do it in near future and kill fitbit

A bezelless screen would be prone to crack. A watch is more exposed to bumping on things all around you than a phone.

Good to see a review of smartwatch on Gsmarena. I lost my interest on review of other new phone models. seems all changes on new phone models are expected. Watch is new area for me i have the interest.
what is the problem of Wear OS? Many manufacturers chose to use other OS options. if the wear OS is not good enough, just fix it. how is the comparison between watch os and wear os? gsmareana can let the readers know more. I have no idea yet.
The screen size 1.28", is it a reading taken diagonally? is that APPLE use a different way to tell the screen size. GSMarena can state clearer how this size is taken.
I like my current 1.4" circular, I am looking if there are larger size available. if display on watch is a killer to battery, is it possible to lower the PPI on dispaly, or display just one single color, would these help? i found the current watch lacks quite many customizations, like when to reset the footstep counter, how long time the screen is turned off. only 1 stop watch is available on top face. all can be made better.
There are many other watch models, GSMareana can consider to cover.

It's a 100$!!!!! There is a great watch just for 150$ which has a aluminium boy, much better screen, much better functionality, much better looks, much better OS and wait for it.........it's an Apple product. I am obviously talking about Apple Watch series 1 if u are still wondering!

How to make proper smartwatch:
-Dont put there hi-resolution screen, its a fricking watch, 200x200 is max what you need.
-Dont put in it some big OS that just pretend to be for watch(android). half of power and battery of such watch would need to be there just to run that system.
-Instead put in it simple and basic OS that support just what smartwatch need: notifications, info(call/alarm/calendar), data sync and basic theme(even just black/white digital/analog).
-dont put in it call function or 5.1 dolby speaker... its a damn watch, its made for showing clock notifications and basic info regarding tracking/sport. For detailed data USE YOUR DAMN PHONE.
-Dont pretend that smartwatch can replace phone... its a lie. Phone it self can barely be a phone because of battery, and if you want to put smartphone functions on device that have 360mAh battery you end with toy that need 24h babysitting and watching if it already died after 12h of usage.

I think you didn't see the control center in the lock screen from iphone and the Edge Shortcuts from Touch wiz.
I think you didn't notice the Mi drop which is copied from idrop.
You didn't see the app vault and the whole layout which is copied from iOS.
You didn't compare the App Switcher which is from iOS.
You didn't compare the App Folders which is from iOS.
Maybe you didn't compare the calendar , compass , Email , Music Player and calculator all are from iOS.
Maybe you didn't see the photo camera and video camera interface again copy from iOS.
You don't compare the Notification Overlay same as iOS.
Maybe you haven't seen Miui 's own search engine copy from siri.
At the end of the you didn't see any similarities because you didn't look it well enough or maybe you didn't want to look into it because you think that they are not similar.

Just a shame its not bezelless design, as it last forever with that kind of screen, the bigger one would not make much difference in battery performance, but big step in looks. Wouldn't say its original since its almost copy of apple watch, but great design is right on next place after battery&performance for me...

When I compare my Mi5 phone to my friends Iphones I dont see anything in common. Like most Chinese phones the installed launcher does not have an App drawer but to me that's where the similarity stops. They are very much Android phones with all the advanced features that one expects from Android. I have this watch and for the price I dont think it can be beat. You could say it looks like an Apple watch, but hey its a square watch what else could they do with it?

Why can't this company get an original design they copy Apple for their smartphone.
They copy Apple for their laptops.
Their Os is a copy of iOS.
And now they didn't even leave pebble they copied them also.
I guess when you sell devices for cheap investing on design is not really a priority.
