I am on my 3rd Samsung Galaxy S9 in Australia - All 3 x S9's of them have had silent patches during calls. The March 2018 firmware upgrades did not work - waiting to see if April 2018 firmware will work. Summary showing Firmware version so far:

Firmware: G960FXXU1ARB1 – Consistent Intermittent Silent patches (~ 6 seconds) on calls using AldiMobile SIM (no VOLTE on network)

Firmware: G960FXXU1ARCC/G960FOXM1ARCA/G960FXXU1ARCC – Consistent Intermittent Silent Spots on calls using AldiMobile SIM

Firmware: G960FXXU1ARCC/G960FOXM1ARCA/G960FXXU1ARCC – No noticible (yet) Silent Spots on calls in 4G zones when using Telstra SIM (with VOLTE/HD Calls enabled at provider) but terrible sound/reception in 3G zones.

same here my S9+ is constantly dropping calls . im talking on the phone and people say it just starts to go quiet and nothing for about 15 seconds and then back perfect for a while before it happens again . ive seen dozens of people report the same issues on numerous forums even non tech related forums . its ridiculous that samsung are denying this is an issue when its so common

Even I don't touch the phone for a couple hours it gets hot, and battery still drains fast. And this is dual SIM version... Can't imagine I would use two SIM cards... I would probably charge every 3 hours

I've read a couple of times 4g drains more, while there is no obvious difference between h+ and 4g lte, unless you download a lot.

Anyway I don't like battery life, even right now I'm on 5hour on screen time, 16h 35min of usage and still with 34% of battery, but somewhy if I leave home, battery dies in half day.

geordie81, 30 Mar 2018You have to hold your finger on the capture button to burst... moreno, i am not taking burst shot. I was just taking 2 shots quickly on the same object. i do this always just in case one of the shot get blurred. I tried quickly tap the shoot button 7 times on the S9, S9 can take 4 shots only. S7 can take all the 7 shots. S9 needs some improvement on its camera app, its camera is not yet as fast (or reliable) as the older S7.

Another issue, S9 should not put the HDR button inside the deep down setting menu, that is totally 4 annoying taps. and there is no other way to bring that HDR button out on top UI. During shooting if the color seems not good, I always like to quickly open and off the HDR to compare.

probably need some months for samsung to fine tune the phone.
