Phones chosen have similar battery sizes.

It is the same to compare XZ1c and iphone8. Iphone does not have even 2000, XZ1c has 2700. Almost twice

          Why not OnePlus 5T

How about including an iphone or a samsung with a 10,000mah powercase on the test? That would really beat all sony device in battery life!

or mate 10 for that matter? or any of phones with 4k battery? was 3.3k or less battery the criteria?

They have chosen the phones with mediocre battery life so that Sony comes at the top. Btw is Strategy Analytics anyway related to Cambridge Analytica?

That's what I loved about my old Sony Z1C. It lasted twice as long as any other phone I've owned. Too bad the new Compact is fat as hell, otherwise I'd go for it again in a heartbeat.

LG v30 and Mate 10 Pro would take the crown.

Ok, maybe I did not read the article in its entirety. But why are they comparing (especially for Snapdragon devices) an older device soc which is not as efficient to a newer one? Yes we can argue that, but it would be nice to know their justification for this...
