Huawei is a copy cat and cheap brand, so I don't see any issues for American they don't miss much. Even Xiaomi is better

Of course Nokia has outsourced almost all the responsibilities for phones to HMD/Foxconn, but the point remains: these are 2 different industries.
I don't understand why Huaweis phone business is banned when the problem is with the equipment.

Guys, the topic was Huawei being banned from US market with baseless accusations. It would be good if we can stick to this.
Being from Telecom industry, i see this is a not just between China and US politically its also about the survival of the other two known telecom vendors like NSN and Ericsson. Huawei has been wiping them out from other markets as they provide much better value for money, excellent products and services. If allowed to compete openly in US market, they will no doubt swap them out which will mark their demise. I think, good competition is good for the consumers as companies are forced to continuously innovate and deliver value for the consumers. Ultimately, its the end customer who suffers and is forced to buy Apples over priced phones.

He makes outlandish claims, some one corrects him so he tells them to read properly and 'learn context clues' and then makes comments which completely contradict the implications of previous comments. When pointed out, he starts talking about country or origin and ethnicity of the other person.

Look at the brands of your groceries and research them. I bet you also don't watch them hollywood films right? We're not even on the inventions yet. Facebook owns Whatsapp and I have microphone permision turned on. So they listen to my converstations. Facebook is Stasi from modern times.
