Man I remember having a Nextel and a sidekick back in the mid to late 2000s. Those were the days. It’s sad to see that the 2018 effort to bring the sidekick back never got anywhere. I’ve been on apple devices since 2009. I’m sure if they do come back out with a sidekick it will be an android phone which I have no clue how to use. It’s also said that AOL AIM is officially gone as well. The good old days man….

They do really need to come back with the sidekick this would be awesome everyone needs to write to T-Mobile and say how bad they want the sidekick to come back 5G

you do not know how by far ive been awaiting the reincarnation of this beautiful well design monster of a device ,,, not only is it the only phone with such design like no other but .. i consider this to be a true advisary .. let the best mind .. win ...

I have been w/out a keyboard phone for over 2 years now, there is nothing out worth a crap for T-mobile LTE. I would gladly pay a premium (not $700-$100 lunacy iPhone premium, but a a premium) for a slider with dedicated number keys. I have been limited, like a dumb iPhone user to phones that offer nothing, so I don't upgrade, or upgrade NIB from eBay. T-mobile phones really suck now, w/out a keyboard. We used to be more efficient, now we are limited like iPhone-status-symbol "users".

I would love for them to come out with a new sidekick I would get rid of my IPhone x in a heart beat. I only upgraded my phone because my old sidekick wouldn't work

Scrolling through the news section and just reading the title of this, I was already grabbing my wallet to preorder it as I clicked. I was thoroughly disappointed to see it was just a joke. Thanks for getting my hopes up guys!
Seriously, I would be ******* ecstatic if T-Mobile brought the Sidekick back!!! Screw these lousy inaccurate touch keyboards, I can't stand them! I sorely miss having a sliding keyboard smartphone. And it extremely sucks that no one is making physical keyboard phones anymore. Aside from Blackberry. Not a fan of their portrait style, though considering buying one anyway because that's the only phone with a keyboard at the moment...
