Samsung Odyssey Z is a 15.6" gaming laptop with a GTX 1060, 6-core i7

03 April 2018
And it weighs 2.4 kg, fairly light for a gaming laptop - all thanks to a vapor chamber cooling system with two blower fans.

Zenodroid, 03 Apr 2018Still Samsung, dude. You do know that they make more than p... moreOf course I did not know. It's not like they don't do a lot of PC stuff like RAM and NAND either, or that they unveiled last week a line of PCs and I definitely did not comment on that.
And just reinstall Windows using the Media Creation Tool if you really believe that. Like a ''Signature Edition'' laptop from the MS Store.

The specifications are decent, almost the same as other budget gaming laptops at this performance range, but what the hell is that design? For real, they have really good sales revenue, even if they are using premium parts for that, the design is a little uninspiring in my own opinion. The bezels of the laptop are the thickest I have ever seen on a 15.6". I know these are different divisions of the company, but couldn't they inspire design from their SAMSUNG smartphone division?

But this isn't the first time a thin gamer laptop put the touchpad on the side and the keyboard closer to the bottom. I'm pretty sure it's to make room the the actual components and the cooling solution, closer to the screen.
Because with a 6 core CPU and a dedicated GPU in a body that appear to be pretty slim, it will need all the space it can get to not overheat and throttle like it's in hell.

Why only limit the memory to 16GB though.

54 Whr battery lasts for a 5 hour when browsing the web on a much lower power CPU. This CPU + GPU make the battery life non existant. Max-p might be more efficient, if not, then it last even shorter.

Tho i think a numpad would make more sense for a gaming laptop

Aw. No numpad. Battery will not last an hour on gaming. And nice to see a hexacore gaming laptop.

A gaming computer with very delayed updates and full of bloatware. I'm almost going to say I'll rather go for acer or hp, but I'm sure it's the same trash.

The back reminds me of their samsung jet smartphone that I ever wished to buy at then. Nice nostalgia.
