Weekly poll results: Huawei P20 Pro outstrips the P20 by a huge margin

The P20 will have to stand in the shadow of its 40MP-shooting sibling. The Mate RS attracted curiosity that probably won't convert to sales.

Both are attrcactive, for me as a general phone user who didn't really want to get the all singing and all dancing phone then I saw no point in going to around £40 a month with the p20 pro when I can get nearly everything in it, short of the triple camera setup and marginally bigger screen for quite a bit cheaper. P20 pro is obviously the better phone but the value of the p20 speaks for itself. Currently on a contract with the p20 that is unlimited minutes and texts with 16gb data and it's cheaper over the 2 years than buying a samung galaxy s9 outright at rrp.

Good phones overall but I had an S9 before I got the p20 and if I had money to blow I'd really be opting for the s9+ over the p20 pro but the p20 is such good value on contract it was worth getting over an s9.

    Camera is the only thing this thing can offer for insane price, everything else is not good enough, S9 is way more better phone

        Hope Huawei reads comments. While I do have (and like) Mate 9 and Mate 10, I'm NOT going to buy a phone without SDCard slot OR without 3.5mm headphone connector. I root all my phones and SDCard really helps. I do have around 15 different high quality headphones, all wired. I do have around 60GB of high quality music, I like to preload maps on my SDCard memory and that's why SDCard is the requirement.

          I like the standard P20 better. Body size, price tag.

            I am real sceptical about some of their camera claims. That slow mo is way inferior to Sony and s9 offerings. The stabilisation in videos is poor. I suspect the Mate 20 Pro will be good though. Learning to think the notch is ok. Battery is a beast, and 1080p is fine for me.

                If people kept on complaining things like these just because they hate sacrifices on phones then they shouldn't whine anyway. GSMARENA is slowly becoming worse in the comment section because of constant whining on "features they hate". Be civil please!

                  I think P20 Pro is one of the better flagships to come out of late. It has a lot to offer and only a few undesirable qualities. Personally though, I'd wait for Mate 20 if i were going for a Huawei phone. That new chipset will really be worth the wait... and who knows, it might not have the notch either.

                    If you're looking at the premium space, the mate RS is the best phone out there right now. Honestly, I'm pretty sure people who are buying 1000$ iPhones and Samsungs don't think money Is an issue in the first place.

                      Critics about the price whanl ll other flagships cost more?
                      No headphone jack? So What? it comes with an adapter, if it were a samsung or an iphone it would be ok....
                      Last but not the least, the phone allows you to hide the notch.
