I have S8 and using it on 720p resolution. I done experiment and showed it to my friends saying look at this amazing 2k screen everybody said yeah it looks amazing and so on, while at the end I just told them it is 720p and they couldn't believe it. So yeah, forget 1080p or 2k on a phone if you don't use VR you definitely no need it

I don't think this will use Exynos 7885. 7880 at most, but I could be wrong.

Removable battery?? Means plastic build and no full HD screen for cost cutting..

Exynos 7885 on J series? that's a big performance improvement there for cheap device.

Seems like a good phone with a good CPU.... I just don't understand the choice putting a 720p screen on it! If it had a 1080p one, I may get one.

I don't understand the strategy of Samsung, for a $500 phone (Galaxy A8+) they use the same chipset ie Exynos 7885 as that of this budget phone (J7 Duo) which will probably cost not more than $250. Best is to wait for flagship prices to drop if you are poor!

No NFC and speaker on the back? Looks similar to upgraded J7 "V".
