Should be no nonsense 120hz screen stuff, 8gb ram, 845 is dissapointment, and must physical gamepad with buttons. Plus exclusives and lots of it if it wants to succeed and best would be custom Snapdragon chipset better than 845. When it would be unique and would definitely have chances to succeed. Considering it's Xiaomi and orientates into pricing, none of my above mentioned things will be implemented so just probably best to forget it as another generic phone like Razer unless it will be super cheap for flagship hardware.

Kiyasuriin, 04 Apr 2018Heaviest I've ever seen is the LineageII: Revolution. A tes... moreWhich confirms exactly that you don't need 10-12GB of RAM. Better put battery there or enhance the GPU (but this is harder than getting bigger battery than can be shaped freely as far as Lithium goes).

FromChinaWithLove, 05 Apr 2018Oh Yeah, great game. Many Korean mobile games are pretty gr... moreKiya-touch T2. (my OWN costum built iPod touch. Pretty much a shrunk version of the Meizu Pro 7. with Snapdragon 845. I've realised that Snapdragon preforms better for gaming)
Galaxy S9 (5.8/4/128 version. where it's Size, RAM, Storage accordingly) and iPhone 8 from work. I had an iPod touch 6G. but it broke. (T_T I miss it.) and my Gear S3 Frontier LTE. (YEAH. THERE ARE GAMES FOR WATCHS!!!1)
these are my devices.
I did mention that I used a snapdragon 820 as baseline for Quad core. I used my fiancee's Galaxy Tab S3 for measurements. (he's used for my shit. when you're engaged to a developer. you gotta get used to the craze) I personally don't have a tablet.

Kiyasuriin, 04 Apr 2018Just done. And my. It IS heavy.
Forcing smooth gameplay it... moreOh Yeah, great game. Many Korean mobile games are pretty great and heavy too. And since they go for the HD look, they can be pretty crazy on graphics and RAM.
HIT, darkness reborn, lost kingdom ( this one is in Korean language), lineage II. The Japanese aren't so bad too, game from asomobi, like avabel.
And now I'm very curious about what phone do you use?
I've been using all Sony's phone from Z1s to Z3 and now the XZ, and when I first encountered the game ( HIT), I saw the ultra settings and my phone cannot support it( that's the AS I was using). And so later on when I got my Xperia XZ, I tried it again and it is a big No ( can't run it on ultra settings, and not support it again!).

FromChinaWithLove, 04 Apr 2018Every interesting. Hey can you try out the game HIT, and in... moreJust done. And my. It IS heavy.
Forcing smooth gameplay it took a decent chunk of memory, just Loading took 780MB of RAM, GAMEPLAY itself is decent at 1790 MB (Ô_Ô) and GPU load forced at 60 FPS is lighter than I thought, 7 G72 CORES were occopied...and Load spread on 8 cores is heavier: 18.2%, while Quad takes it to 43%.
Interesting gameplay btw.

Anonymous, 04 Apr 2018Don't think 120 Hz refresh rate can be implemented via software..Actually it might not be that hard . You can tweak any laptop display from 60 to 65-100 .

Hey can you try out the game HIT, and interestingly can your phone run the game on ultra settings of the game? My phones sucks so none of them can let "turn on " the highest settings on that game, sadly!

People who criticize mobile games are often the people who don't play ( play enough of mobile games, maybe console is all they play or all they played was candy crash?)
If you guys ever come to play some of the Korean mobile games nowadays, test your phone and see if you can run game on the highest settings.
Example: HIT, lineage 2, ( there are more and they aren't even in the playstore since they're only release locally).

leledumbo, 04 Apr 2018The same, you don't need that much on mobile. What's the he... moreHeaviest I've ever seen is the LineageII: Revolution. A test running my debug systems shows it consumes 1722 MB of RAM in peak cost and about 1460 by avarage. Loads on OCTA core system leads to an avarage spread of 17.2% per core. and QUAD core leads to a staggering 40% (SD820 as baseline) It takes quite a lot of GPU power. having it forced at 60FPS led to occopying about 9 G71 cores. and 8 G72 Cores.
Another heavy game. (though less graphically intense) is Opsu!. running it through the modder software to desktop size leads to 980MB avarage and 1.1GB running a map.
and Love Nikki. takes 800MB by usual.
Oh. and lastly. for the racing lovers. Real Racing 3 on the extreme settings occopies a WHOPPING 1800 MB at all times! (given the LRU and LMK module codes are turned off)
