Well, the tech does support VoLTE. 3G doesn't. That's why you're able to do a google search while calling on ALL carriers, since they use different channels.

Anyw... moreA quick google search reveals it all. In America, patents prevent Samsung from using a modem without paying royalties to Qualcomm. It's cheaper to just use a Qualcomm chipset. Companies on the scale of Qualcomm and Samsung are not "scared" or "shy". Shows how uninformed you are.
Psst the Galaxy S9 is $10 cheaper than the Galaxy S8 at launch.

Boldy, 04 Apr 20184G supports VoLTE, 3G doesn't. I think you have it backwards. Try to make a call, and you see your 4g will switch to 3g. And not all providers have volte yet. So yeah, my point still stands.
