Samsung shamelessly taking credit for "coming up" with 3 layer chip. Implementation may be different but solution was out there for over a year. They did not create this but article makes it seem they claim they did.

Please correct the following: 960 frames in 0.2 seconds. If it is 960 fps that means 960 frames in/per 1 second, that's 192 frames for 0.2 seconds. If 960 frames in 0.2 seconds is correct, than the correct spec should say 4800 fps.

Well paying extra money for Samsung camera improvements should be fine idea as long as the camera on this phone is better or far better than most of other cameras.
But to be honest even a budget camera from Canon or Nikon i mean one for 150 eur do a much better photos than Samsung S9+ with dual camera setup.
Maybe once will come time when the camera in phone will be as good as real pure camera but this is not that time and i dont believe in next 10 year will something changes.
Phones replaced audiophones, navigations, dictionary and many else but the phone camera will never or just not now replace real camera.

When Sony puts 1TB RAM for unlimited 1080p @960fps Super Slow Motion, people will call it "overkill" just like what they're doing with 4K screens, but when Samsung does the same, they will call it "the most innovative feature ever done on a smartphone."
A new technology isn't an innovation until Samsung and/or Apple incorporates the same technology to their devices.

... morewe not really bothered by the fact that samsung copied it, rather we annoyed at the fact that samsung fan is the one who calling it gimmick, and when samsung copied it, they claim it better and functional
of course it is, the just copy something and improve it rather than think and developing it,
