I don’t know what’s so good about WhatsApp, and why people seems to be very hesitant to move to other platform.

First, every important features that WhatsApp has, has been the features of BBM for ages, and of course, of Telegram.

Second, every single tiny little change in WhatsApp always get an attention from GSM Arena, but not Telegram, yet almost everything that WhatsApp has as its important features has been the standard features of Telegram for ages. I don’t need to say that WhatsApp is a copycat of Telegram, but come on, I don’t think we need to give a spotlight to every change that WhatsApp copied from Telegram.

Third, until today, WhatsApp has no dedicated app for iPad or many other tablets, excluding Galaxy Tab, unlike any other messenger like Telegram, (even) BBM, Line, Facebook Messenger. I mean, if they can do it, why can’t WhatsApp do the same? Booo... Come on, it’s 2018 already.

I think the original & most significant thing that WhatsApp has ‘invented’ are, Bold, Italic, Strike.

Don’t get me wrong, I don’t hate WhatsApp, and am a heavy WhatsApp user because of my job. And I’m not an ambassador of Telegram, even though I’m also a heavy user of Telegram, also for my job. I use everything that works for my business, including the old good BBM. But I just feel disturbed that WhatsApp got so many attention for its copycat features, yet nothing about Telegram has ever been under the spotlight here. And that’s why I can tell the comparison between WhatsApp and other messenger, especially Telegram, from which WhatsApp might got the idea of adding Telegram features as its features.

I might be wrong, anyone is free to give a comment or oppose, but I just write what I have in mind. Try Telegram, and you might be surprised if you see when did Telegram add every features that WhatsApp has. It’s like a lightyear ago. And in a much better execution for almost everything. And oh, of course, BBM...

That’s all folks... I need to go offLINE

AnonD-671411, 05 Apr 2018It has been in iOS for more than a month now. I've been usi... moreHelpful in creating more road accidents and lost of lives in the road due this.

Once again, What's copies features from Telegram and no one bats an eye.
This feature has been available on Telegram for so long we take it for granted on that platform.

Who knows what's going to be copied next?

The one that wrote the article should have made an inquiry into seeing if iOS does not benefit from it already. Because it does!

It has been in iOS for more than a month now. I've been using it and it works great ! It's very helpful when you're driving.

This is indeed a much needed feature!
