whats the problem with these people? why so much much effort to copy such a bad design from apple? i´ve always believed in oneplus originality and had a hard time trying to get one since oneplus one, succeded only on oneplus 5, my current phone. but overall happy they keept the headphone jack.

Voxter, 06 Apr 2018This notch is even worse than others for a very clear reaso... moreOh yes all the screen protectors that i've seen till now highlight the notch, enclosing it, it makes it impossible to hide. I'll never buy a phone with notch if i can't find before for that phone a screen protector that cover the entire front including the speaker and sensors area, with the respective holes, without enclosing and highlighting the notch, plus the feature of hide it with black bars in the software.
If the notch is ugly with the screen protector is even more uglier and i always use screen protectors in my phones plus cases. The classics full thin bezels (continous-straight) are a lot more beatiful.

Don't worry guys.. Oneplus will give modifications of notch like full Black background in notification bar and it will look like lg v20.. I must say.. Using notch we can give space for notifications and all black background with amoled will look amazing.. And in addition after the notification bar give black round corners and it will look amazing

I had high hopes but they were dashed by the notch and the price. Oh well. Guess I should have bought the 5t.

I get embarrassed for all these Chinese companies trying their hardest to copy Apple. I would never buy their products even for cheap.

This notch is even worse than others for a very clear reason, if you look at the photo, this notch has a relief that makes it stand out above the sensors and the speaker. Impossible to hide that. It makes it even uglier. Perhaps it is a screen protector but in that case, it looks like the screen protector for these phones with notch make the phone uglier too. Some brand should make full screen protectors covering the entire screen without enclosing and highlighting the notch.
