Samsung Galaxy Note9 tipped to come with 6.4" screen, larger battery

10 April 2018
It's a small tick over the 6.3" screen of the Note8, but it will double the gap to the Galaxy S9+'s 6.2" screen.

Note9 need 16:9 format back, this would make room for normal battery, BTW I don't know what's wrong with 16:9? On the other hand keep candy bar format for S series and that's it, problem solved, BTW it's fascinating how this days Screen Diagonal is offered as marketing spotlight while smaller diagonals at 16:9 have actually bigger screens...anyway...

Increasing battery capacity (aka size) will most likely result in the removal of the headphone jack. Note 8 is an already packed phone and this will be the perfect excuse for Samsung.

            Rip headphone jack

Montreal, 11 Apr 2018In the end people with end up with TABLET sized "phones" ..... moreWhy would the size of the Note Series matter if no one is forcing their product on you? Plenty of smaller device options on the market for those who prefer the smaller phones.
                  ????

Putting big batteries on phones isn't unsafe. It's all about using high-quality hardware & thoroughly testing the phone before release.

Brands like Huawei, Razer, HTC, Motorola, etc have been putting 4000 mah (or slightly less) batteries on their phones without any issues whatsoever.

Samsung could do it too if they're willing to up their game... but it's less likely after the Note 7 fiasco.

How are they going to fit a spinning disc in a phone?

(psst... hdd stands for HARD DISC DRIVE ;D )

Note9 will have the same old chipset as S9/S9+ & probably the same camera as well. It would be far more reasonable to go for Huawei Mate 20 Pro which will have the latest Kirin chipset (which appears to be much faster) & the new Leica triple camera setup (which is incredible). Just saying, i wouldn't hold my breath for Note9 when something much better is releasing around the same time. :D

Edit: Oh wait, i just remembered Americans can't buy Huawei phones... oh well, i guess you'll have to settle with the Note9 then. :p

That sounds great and the only thing you need to do Samsung is to give us flat screen. No more edges please.

After Note 8 is an epic fail on the battery it makes sense for a 4000 mah battery .

I might be getting Note FE as it was the last relatively compact and lightweight Galaxy Note. Heavy and big 6 inchers are absolutely deal breakers for me.
