Any news on that update in UK? I was afraid of updating to Oreo when I bought the phone 1 week ago (7.0 out of the box), I finally decided to update full of fear, and now I am on 7.1.1 with security patch on 03/2018 (I am actually happy about updating to 7.1.1, battery life has been much better, performance seems the same, or a little bit better). But still no info about possible 8.0 here.

still no update notification today.
but hey, its one of Android One devices, 2 years of official support, listed for Android P!
no other low end devices should get that... unless resort to root+unlock boot+install custommmmmmm
google has impelmented devices certification, so any custom roms that will render a device uncertified will unable to use/update Google services... not now, but soon will happen. Surely.
those using devices that uncertified / altered anything(google soon will 'caught' Magisk as it does with Xposed).. be trembled.

ZloiYuri, 12 Apr 2018Yeah, very fast! Just more than ONE year to update. Nice su... moreNokia 6,5, 8 are already on Oreo 8.1 and each and every patch i got on my Nokia 6 never ever miss any patch on any month i can say its really fast. Really fast this terms also should be consider for different configuration device. Nokia 3 is a mediatek processor still it gets oreo thats why hmd is seems to be trusted in terms of software upgrades. Giving such kind of support to low end devices is hard to get from a manufacturer. Some manufacturer says its a mediatek processor it can't have oreo.
Still HMD/Nokia prove they are capable to support even their low end phones as well as Nokia 2 will also get 8.1 soon which is great.
I know you are jealous lol......

Klej, 11 Apr 2018And this is how Nokia will take a big chunk of this android... moreYep... So far the update pace has been stellar. If They can keep this up, the Nokia is the best choise to people who would like to keep their phones up to date with Apple who has had good updates for years. In Android world only google phones and maybe Sony has been able to keep good speed in upgrades. And even Sony has not so good record in low end phones...
