If you put this phone, Motorola X4, Motorola 1Gen, Samsung Galaxy S3 in case, ok, maybe back will be different because of different holes (camera, flash etc), and maybe different case colors... :D
But front, with this soap, shape design is the same, like that phones from the past. Every OEM has changd that old design, except Motorola under Lenovo ownership and thats a bad part (with low end specs with mid prices). Sales of Motorola branded phones, says that also, since 2015..

Xiaomi... moreMotorola operates in the United States. That's where their main headquarters are. That makes it a United States company. It has their own president. Unlike chinese Xiaomi wich has everything in China.
Motorola developers know Android better than anyone else because they were part of the Google Android team at some point. You can't compare crappy MIUI with pure stock Android. Also Motorola has been here doing the same thing ever since Samsung was a company dealing with fish.
They have more durable phones, better call quality and reception than everyone else. Most durable batteries (takes longer to degrade than the rest). They still have the same battery providers as Motorola Solutions (the public safety Motorola) because they have the same old bold Motorola brand logo.
You trolls have no idea what you're talking about. Also it's the only company that doubled their sales in the US in the last year. In Latin America and India they are number 2 among all. Just give it a couple of years for Lenovo to fix what Google broke with worldwide distribution and availability and you'll see Motorola in the top 2 -3 again.
Make some research before being such a hater on the company that gave you the first cell phone.

Samsung uses the same design in their phones for years and you don't complain. The s9 back is a rip off of the LG G2 back, the front is the same as the S8 wich is the same as the S7 with less borders, wich is the same as the S6 wich has the same front as the failure S5 and the list can go on. Not to mention it all started as a iPhone wannabe (it stills try to be with their stupid animoji). The X4 and G6 have an original design, just look at that awesome camera bump dude. It's original, looks like a dslr ring from a lens. The front is theirs, you can relate to it being a Motorola without even reading the brand name. That's the whole point. Put 5 phones together and you will know this one is a Motorola, it has an identity among all these other copies.

Xiaomi have one low end phone, redmi 5, with, same SD 450, and price of that Xiaomi is 90 euros now.. And both are Chinese brands, just Motorola is sub brand od Chinese brand, now.

If you wanna, at least to know what is good design, look at some Samsung phones from 2018, LG (V30), Huawei Mate 10 Pro, Xiaomi Mix 2s, and others normal phones with actual design. Even Nokia (HMD), have better designed phone, (7 Plus), than this. Motorola is now owned by Lenovo, and about design.. Well, i guess you see, no difference, beetwen this and Moto G 1th gen from 2013, unless you're to blind to notice? X4? Haha..

Even though it's owned by Lenovo, they do most of their design, software and testing in the US and Brazil. Please inform yourself better before doing such comments.

I like the back circular camera.
My friend have a X4.
It looks like a premium wrist watch if we look in different angles. Loved it.
But it was 16:9 display and much more costly. So i didn't bought. This one will be my next

Design seems cool not like all those other Iphones ripoffs in the segment.
For all the people complaining about old design.
Let me Remind you that even Xiaomi has been using the same design for its Redmi and Redmi Note Phones From the Past Few years.
And No one Seems to complain.

Motorola please don't f*** up Moto Z3 Force this time. Please put a big battery as previous Force phones & a good camera too. Z2 Force was a disgrace to the Force series. I have faith in you Moto, please impress me this time! :)
