      my phone was slow in the first day whit 410 until lg released patch for multithreading, i think.
      If phone is cheap and screan looks good for video vaching, camera ok (the most needed things) and most important is it protected from water, does it haw case included, for new phone whit bigger price in operator shop.

Check the architecture, it is ARMv7 which is 32 bit, ARMv8 is 64 bit. They did the same with moto g5 plus, using the 64 bit sd 625 but with 32 bit android, ARMv7 architecture. So this phone is 32 bit.

            Since the Qualcomm 210, 410, 615 y 808 SoC all are of 64 bits. So yes, you can find phones of the previous year and older generation that are alot better and have community support so you can install lastest software of today and keep with that better hardware for several years till buy another one with the best quality/price that you can find without buy the latest crap available because it's new.

It's very risky and a gamble with 5 year old phones and if it dies you pay more again for a new phone/used phone / repair cost which may not be cheap depending upon what fails and spare parts availability will be hard for such old phones
                , then additional genuine battery cost as old one will be useless by then .. And old phones itself had very poor battery life in general compared to modern ones ..

                        Snapdragon 430 is useless. Even a 5 years old Snapdragon 800 device has much better single core and multi core CPU performance. I bet the GPU is also better in Snapdragon 800. There is no justification for the existence of low end phones and CPUs.

                        I always said that an old flagship is always better than a new midranger or low end phone. Why would anyone buy a new low end phone if one can buy an old flagship with much better CPU performance, camera performance and more features for the same price?

                          Been samsung haevy user, moto e5 looks premium tham s5 and note4.
                          Hopefully there is an update like moto e2 (working fine, twice update so far)
