Anonymous, 14 Apr 2018Huawei has committed to providing timely security updates? ... moreMate 10 owner here. The CEO confirmed android 8.1 is coming to the Mate 10 soon, with new features added that the P20 has like more scene recognition modes. Hoping they could fit in face unlock as well though.

Huawei has committed to providing timely security updates?
Mate 10 owners are waiting almost 3 months for Security updates. Do you call that
timely? They will treat the P Series the same way.
Not to mention the Mate 10 still being on Android 8.0. Huawei also promised faster Android Updates. Most other rival phones are already on 8.1. With Mate 10 owners waiting for the NPU to be fully utilized on Android 8.1 Huawei as doing nothing as usual.

No 3.5mm Jack means faster wearing out of the USB Type C port if you are charging and also using it to connect wired Type C earphones or Type C to 3.5mm jack adapter. If you're using wireless earphones, not a big issue unless you don't mind charging it separately. Despite being a glass sandwich design, there's no support for wireless charging which is ridiculous at this price point. The camera is overrated. It produces overexposed shots and look way overprocessed and sharpened. EMUI is a trash of an User Interface. Huawei has gone nuts and the price isn't justified. They mocked Apple during the pre announcement and look who is a follower of the notch. No originality whatsoever.
