It will be suicidal if there's a notch display.

Nokia need to make one outstanding flagship not more entry level phones.

What I want to see is Nokia make a compact flagship (>5" screen size) with a slim design (not more than 8mm thickness) and great battery life and camera. If they can do that then consider me a new customer.

If Nokia will announce an event held on april 27, then i believe there will be a new device coming.
If you all remember, Nokia N9 is really hidden from the crowd, it was well-kept from the leakers. And 808 41mp sensor was also a big surprise. Even i still remember gsmarena said -yes it is 41, not 14-

              I had a Nokia X.
It actually didn't run too bad.. it had it's limitations, but the UI was nice.

It feels like they've released a swathe of devices recently covering low-end to high-end.. so it'll be interesting to see where this one fits in.

Mirkran, 16 Apr 2018Everyone are entitled to their opinion, but the problem of ... moreLad, some people need certain functions to be built-in, while theres a lot of apps for many of those things, finding them and getting used to their possible annoyances is more of a time loss than those few ms lost vs clean android phone. I don't mean to insult You, it's just that some people like those skins and functions associated with them - I for example love the Spen and I cant possibly find a successor for my note edge (just the side being actually useful in itself, rather than having to swipe the edge of the screen to get it fully covered in mess), and maybe its not a performance demon, but after almost 2years still holds its power and is decent for music + most of my work on the go (had the s7edge, sold it after 2months). And since I dont do much gaming on the phone, its a miracle phone for me, even today :), so specs are sometimes secondary need my friend :)

Reminds me of X symbol in pop ups which means Cancel or Close.

Maybe there is a new Nokia that is going to be released/unveiled on April 27, and the X is just to "hide" the number, implying that there will be a nokia coming, but they won't tell us which one.

Anonymous, 16 Apr 2018I hate stock Android, that's one of the main reasons (other... moreEveryone are entitled to their opinion, but the problem of custom UIs is that you sacrifice performance over features. So, the question is: what do you want? A faster, more responsive phone, or do more with it? Personally, I prefer performance, because I already know what I can do with a phone the moment I buy it.

I think the X mean 10. We already know the nokia 1 to 9. So why not 10? it's a flagship from Nokia. 18:9 screen maybe.

To me that actually looks like a Surface screen which is high-end ... and that could be Nokia/HMD's way of distinguishing their flagship from other flagship devices ...smart choice and I personally think it looks beautiful and it will surely get noticed amongst the herd of notch devices. They already have the 2,3, 5,6 ...there is no room/point for lower budget device nor would it look that premium/sleek, so it must be the 10.

Only prob with my theory, is for such a device, they surely would hold an event or give it a big announcement. So it also could be, they are using this device to test reactions to such a design

The point here is that I would love to have a Nokia phone once again but can’t until they make their own additions to Android.
