Anonymous, 16 Apr 2018If you want to see mediocre soc : - Snapdragon 410 or 412 ... moreS7 hehe (you mistype that)
Yeah IDK why Qualcomm still using that very old SoC until now.
I'm impressed this P60 now, except some apps are still not optimized so yeah.... We'll just wait for sometime for this to perform better.

Anonymous, 16 Apr 2018First could be said about 6735 too Second one for Helio p1... moreWrong! Problem of 410 comes from unfinished design on cortex A53 revision 0.
No one else use this revision...
Qualcomm release 412 with same revision 0, attendre same time, others use revision 2!
615 is a problem of core management.
When you are Qualcomm, you can sell 410 or 615 despite bad conception!
When you are Mediatek, you can't sell mt6732 or 6752 despite far better conception.
    Pressure on OEM?
Bad image in final customers mine?

X10 doesn't use Big cores, you are probably talking about X20! Test one and come back!
Mine is able to run 10 cores during 10 minutes with only 6% throttling without switch off any Big cores, not only 810 cuts big cores in about 2 minutes but 652 does too in about 4 or 5! I'm even not sure that 820 is able to loose only 6% in 10 minutes!

About developpement, maybe you should have a look to M.A.D github.
And ask you if it's link to OEM? Do you compare Google with tiny OEM from Shenzhen?
About LTE, tell me who must be paid? Qualcomm ?...oh well! You admit the main problem of soc building : patent trolling!!! Tell me about abuse of dominance and Qualcomm's condamnations?
How Intel, Texas Instruments, Broadcom, St-Micro, NVIDIA stop making soc for smartphone.

Does people are right to troll mediatek and underestimate performances...
    They already stop X serie!
Should they stop P serie too?

Tell me? Do you want monopoly?
    It's Time to wake up!
Oneplus 6's price is double than Oneplus One's!

      Third for Helio x10...
Plus they come with bonus of never Making source available unless forced by manufacturer.. with almost no ROM development and additional bonus for non payment for LTE bands

Geric.770, 16 Apr 2018Mediatek=Mediocre I'll just keep my phone.😁If you want to see mediocre soc :
        - Snapdragon 410 or 412 or the worst A53 usage! Underperform by 15-20% compare to any other
        - Snapdragon 615 or 616 or how to make Octa A53 works like quad A53
        - Snapdragon 810 or the 2 minutes throttling CPU!

Even today on 425, Qualcomm sell an obsolete GPU, Adreno 308 is unable to d'un OpenGL3.1 in 2018!!!

Mediatek never force their customers to buy that kind of things.

About P60, you should get informations about it! As Kryo 260/280 are copy of A73/A53 Arm's design, you can imagine how it will behave compare to 636/660 or even 835 (except GPU for 835).

Gsmarena tests both Oppo R15 versions, P60 and S660...both are close, including real-game experience

There are many speedtests of Oppo S7 on YouTube too...
