The samples are full-res in good light, and they look impressive.

This looks like a 1/2.8" sensor. So i am looking for other options.

And here we go again - smudged details on trees like on OP5/5T (although not as bad, judging from the few samples) and overprocessing/oversharpening all the way again.

I really wonder when OP will learn from customer feedback...

eSIM, 16 Apr 2018Low-light is where the flagships are competing now, OnePlus... moreExactly! No OIS means the fine detail will be lost in low-light (unless you use a tripod, at which point it begs the question what are you doing using a phone instead of a proper camera).

Those photos are way too overexposed, as always OnePlus software sucks ass.

Any phone can take great pictures in day light its low light where a camera is truly tested

Now that Oppo has patented a under display fingerprint sensor. With OP teasing retouched images as usual who is going to buy this phone? 6T UD upcoming soon.

AnonD-730256, 16 Apr 2018Sounds great but i rather skip 2019 7nm processors and wait... morei bought a flagship in 2016 (HTC 10, SD820), and i bought another in 2017 (HTC u11 SD835). it was a huge step in all directions. much better camera, battery efficence, smoother and new squezze (that i use everyday). did i need the update? no...if it was a huge step? it was, mainly because of the 14nm to 10nm upgrade. the second version of 10nm will be so low percentage that is not worth more 800euros in my opinion...not even close..the cameras are not that much better also that justify the money...rest,...there is no rest...

I don't get it, why do you still need a notch on a 6.28inch screen?

The color tone of these images looks as if they were processed using same algorithm from google Pixel.

No exif - no trust. Nuff said.
Images lack in details and are oversharpened. Looks like, they're overprocessed. Look at the borders of objects: You'll notice the processing really well. And seems, that they really don't know anything about promoting the camera: Nobody with sane mind would go for 90% JPEG quality. At least 95% and recommended 98% would have done a better job. Let's wait wait for the GSMArena review.

In broad daylight any camera can look fantastic.
The difference is made in less than ideal conditions and fun extras like 4k 60pfs, slow mo etc.

Look nice to me. Obviously hand picked to be the best, but colours look realistic.

The same happened with Oneplus 5T. The sample pictures "leaked" before release were amazing but, in the end, the camera was no more than reasonable. These are merchandising posts and they should be considered in this way. A real systematic test is required to really evaluate the camera. I don't believe Oneplus can reach Huawei, Apple, and Samsung standards at their current price tag.

Looks just average .. and if it is really coming out of OP6 then the company has lot of scope for improvements .. I think; OnePlus (unknowingly) stopped innovation, camera enhancements, unique designs, new software features just after the 3T launch .. They themselves got busy into replicating the design of some popular phone :D

acemang, 16 Apr 2018This year, flagships are so boring that it hurts. I guess I... moreEveryone can afford a phone for 1$.
