P10 and Mate 10 pictures 2015 level? Lol only u said that. I can say all sony xperia pictures before XZ2 likes 2010 level quality lol. Yep, including XZ premium, even my old Honor 8 pro takes better pictures, XZ premium advantage only in videos and super slow mo.

I heard that XZ2P has 51200 because Sony limited that. It is the value they think is worth to keep great quality.
Motion Eye Dual can support ISO 150000.
Huawei uses software to merge rgb and monochrome, there is no chip in there.
That is why shots are awful, except p20.

And now am jealous that I made a haste to buy the Xz2 if I'd only knew this was to come now have to be satisfied with 4gb ram and single camera... Xz2 premium has covered all the differences to Xz2

People I am a Sony user since the Walkman series and currently own an Xz2 my younger brother uses the xz premium but honestly this phone is Dam fast I understand the design is not great but when u hold the phone that's when u feel the difference the grip u need its sleek towards its edges and bulges at the back for a perfect palm grip

I'm excited for XZ2 premium picture results as well, proving theirself in previously XZ2. But as for design, i'm saying no to Ambient Flow. Choosing a phone design is important, and XZ2 just looks weird and non ergonomic phone (personal preference). Their previous design is wayyy better.

If ... moreSlow microSD cards are becoming rarer and rarer nowadays as mainstream cards with high capacities move towards the faster side (UHS). I doubt anyone who wants to have microSD support for a 64 or 128 GB phone would slap in a cheap 8 or 16 GB microSD, though.
This phone would probably sell towards those who want HQ audio as there is a DAC built into the phone (if I'm not mistaken) so those Hi-Res audio fans would have an alternative to HTC or LG.
Looking at the aperture and lens, I'm going to hold off my comments as it looks really interesting because it uses f/1.8 for color and f/1.6 for b&w. They've shown that the XZ2 can catch up to the S9 that has dual aperture so they might be able to at least fight the P20.
Oh, boy... this is one of those times that I actually find the new set of flagships giving me options rather than simply look at one brand because it can't be beaten by others.

OIS is absolutely necessary. If someone says otherwise then doesn't understand the problem. All "flagship" without OIS should not be called than. XZ2 has exceptional image quality, but without OIS it sacrifice a lot in some conditions... which is not allowed at that price point.

If ... moreNot plenty for media maniacs dude .. hi res audio song size is around 100 mb .. if you download a movie from prime for offline viewing at best quality... it takes 10% of the space for a movie ... sd card and otg comes to rescue at these situations

Samsung still has a bloated UI despite their attempts to trim it down, plus they pre-install plenty of crapware. They should stick with close to stock if they want to remove that lag.

If provided, they wont know what class sd card user will use, unless above class 10 its okay. They dont want to be blamed when user using lower class sdcard, a bit stutter and slow file transfer occurs. Thats why apple start it at the first place. Plus, afaik huawei not providing microsdcard phone on a phone that have 128gb internal memory, which a plenty already.
Agreed on the overprocessed pictures part, but its only can be seen when u pixel peeping. The overprocessed image starts in Mate 10 series AI camera, mate 9 got very good and natural camera algorithm. Considering their very good low lights image, it masked by it. If using p20 pro, turn off Master AI, using 10mp supersampling resolution, u'll be surprised by the results.

I don't want to be forced to put my videos in the cloud because mobile data isn't unlimited when I'm on the go. Then there's the part where I'm okay with a bit of noise as I can clean that but I can't possibly save detail that has been disposed of by the over-eager post-processing of Huawei.
