It looks like the Korean company wants to aggressively market this feature of its latest smartphones.

Livius, 17 Apr 2018Yes they did this to make you forget about the low battery ... more"many units"

In which part of the world have these units been sold, because I've heard nothing.

Ah, people just like to make these things up. "this happened to my friend so it's a widespread problem", "the battery doesn't last long because I read it somewhere"

And once people finally acknowledges the S9 and S9+'s slow motion feature, they will be blaming Sony to be copying Samsung for the same feature once they figure out that the XZ2 trio and last year's XZ Premium, XZs, and XZ1 twins also have the same feature.

You know, Sony creates, Samsung claims it theirs.

Yes they did this to make you forget about the low battery life and the fact that many units had bad software problems and even screen problems which happened to a colleague of mine at work .They should promote software updates because they are the worst , not a useless slow motion feature .

Slow motion is not really of much use for the vast majority of users, LOW LIGHT performance instead, is of enourmous utility for everyone, everywhere

Until 960fps slow-mo gets to a duration of more than 5 seconds, it won't be that useful because you pretty much have to time the action perfectly.

Nothing sig... moreEventually the customer realises, one time out of four, that the newest sales argument/innovaiton/decision is useless/dumb and support gets dropped industry-wide. No jack, no compact phone, notch, slow-mo. That's the fourth one.

Meh this slow motion feature is just a fad imo. Nothing significant about it. Low light prowess trumps it easily.
