So I have an S7 Edge with model number: SM-G935P and it's not listed on Alliance... Is there a reason why? (Ex: Not Comp, Still Testing, Etc?)

Mikey, 18 Apr 2018ugh... someone else who doesn't get the intricate dance t... morethats the truth of any hardware. they all have limits. Best bet for continuous update is apple products since its in house developement. but for android though samsung is well ahead of its competitions. Samsung has oreo features like split screen, picture in picture from many years ago. Quick toggle is a nice addition though. Still I think there is not much need of software updates apart from security updates in s7. S7 will oreo will last untill android N comes maybe even more for normal or buisness users. for power users though plethora of options are there. No need to blame samsung.

Kaioital, 18 Apr 2018They should give more suport to their products instead of f... moreugh... someone else who doesn't get the intricate dance that goes into updates of this nature.

The phone was designed with one OS, in this case 6.0. They reworked 7.0, and now have to push 8.0 onto it as well. This is pushing the limits of the hardware. Then you throw in what the customers do to the phones with all the stuff we install, that runs in the background. Those same apps that the dev's never updated for newer versions of the OS cause issues. Chaos, panic and disorder!

But seriously, this isn't just phones. PC's used to be even worse. You'd never take a Windows desktop that shipped with Windows 7 to 8 and then expect it to run 10 flawlessly. Best bet it would NEED a clean install. Something people refuse to do with their phones with any regularity.

Yeah of course, the software, I understood the reason of what took so long, but between ANDROID NOUGAT and ANDROID OREO, their own SAMSUNG UX have little to no difference, I won't blame them if they were to release late last time when they updated their smartphones from ANDROID MARSHMALLOW to ANDROID NOUGAT, because there is a major change in their UI. So, what is taking them so long if the interface have little to no difference, and only the addition of the newest software features with one example like Picture-In-Picture? Not angry about it but, why?

They should give more suport to their products instead of focusing in realease a new phone every year, They just trow a update with minimun devolpment that only make the phone worse. wen i pick up the phone at store is great, after 3 updates The phone is competly buggy and laggy and the battery dont last a full day anymore.
