You see this is a mid-ranger just like Redmi Note 5 Pro and upcoming Mi A2 or Moto G6 plus ( SD630 may be) but asus has nothing new to offer except 5000 mAh battery which really a good thing but still not enough to justify 20K price bracket because if asus priced it for 20k INR or more, then Huawei Honor 8 Pro (6GB, 128GB variant) will be a better choice for 23k INR which is a last year's flagship device though and still way more powerful and better in many ways than any SD636/SD660 powered mid ranger.
In India 15k to 25k is very crowded price bracket and if companies don't price their devices wisely they gonna lose sale for example HTC their devices are great but with wrong pricing.
Nokia 7 Plus costs 26K INR and Nokia 8 costs 27K INR this is the reason Nokia 7 plus will lose its sale Honor View 10 costs 30K though.

It could be interesting if priced right. Let them release it and we'll see. There is a lot of competition but these phone is to take it into account and better than other reused brands...

Sick and tired of Xiaomi and Flipkart. Their flash sales process blows majorly. 10 unsuccessful attempts to buy the goddamn pro 5. You don't even get two minutes after you add the product to the kart. What kind of stupid process is this?
Sadly even this is going to be on Flipkart and most likely will be sold through flash sales. No hope. Wish it was on Amazon. At least their flash sales process makes sense and is reasonable, unlike Flipkart. Your product cannot go out of stock for a limited time after being added to the cart.
Sucks, hoping Meizu launch their SD 636 phone in India. Little chance though.

Hope it doesn't launch for more than Rs.17K, otherwise there won't be any buyers! But it's Asus, so definitely there's gonna be some strange pricing! They launched Zenfone 3 with Snapdragon 625 at an insane pricing of Rs.28K ($430)!
