It's also more expensive and you have to wait a long time before you can get back your phone. If the OEM no longer produce replacement battery or the service deny the battery replacement, then you are remained with a dead phone. The non-removable battery forces you to be dependent on other people (OEM, service, experts ...) Also you can't replace the stock battery to a bigger extended battery (for example 6000 - 10000mAh). You can't replace the battery on the go.

but be honest. their marketing is a bit weird.
while the v30(+) looks to be a good phone it still has a 835 in it. with all the 845 around which are a bit more power efficient and rumors about the v35 that looks to be a bit of a tough sell.
the upcomming g7 already seems less than the v30 in evey aspect so not sure what their marketing plan with this one is specially with the announced v 35 and no v40 around

Anonymous, 20 Apr 2018even the v35 is gonna drop g7 sales. its just better. Yeah, utterly weird mentality at LG. G7 is already spec nibbles by the battery, V35 is likely to be a bit better, and deserving a buy. But you'd wait for the v40, surely.
