Oreo roll out for T-Mobile's Samsung Galaxy Note8 put on hold

24 April 2018
So far, the magenta carrier hasn't offered any reason for the move, and there's also no information on when the roll out would resume.

I am so tempted to go for an iPhone but I just can't live without a headphone jack. Which phone should I switch to. I am so done with Samsung and their imfamois update rollout.

I installed the Android 8.0 (Oreo) update the day it became available in early April 2018 on my Galaxy Note 8. The only initial problem, since fixed, I had was with my Yahoo Mail app freezing. By clearing the app's cache, I resolved the problem. It now works great.

sad for my note 8 ....

I got the update and not facing any issues. The phone is running perfect.

It's obviously because of all the minor problems people have been experiencing with the update. Battery draining, etc... I'm glad they're waiting for a stable version, my note 8 is running just fine as is with decent battery life.
