Note7 owner, 25 Apr 2018, I would just let these folks void their warranty agreemen... moreIf a software can fix this that means that it's not people being cheap, it's Apple being expensive.

, I would just let these folks void their warranty agreement and live with a brick for being cheap.

Apple: "non-genuine replacement displays may have compromised visual quality and may fail to work correctly"
What Apple really meant: "non-Apple supplied displays will make us lose $$$ from our herd because they can buy the same if not comparable quality from third parties, so buy from us so we can milk more moolah from you, brainless herd"

Typical Apple, just like how they behaved with Error 53 claiming that replacing the TouchID Button with a non-Apple supplied one will compromise security, when clearly they're contradicting themselves when they said in their iPhone 5s introduction video that "biometric data is stored inside the SoC" and not in the TouchID button or even the cloud.
