The Microsoft-Nokia partnership will bring new features to the platform that you android clowns can only dream of; Ones that people can actually use in a productive way.

AnonD-1312, 31 Aug 2011everybody knows it except u! Lol! . .try harder. .n9 lower ... moreDon't even start, even Nokia's flagship devices do not get close to the SGS2, no matter how lightweight the OS is. The N9 is a one-off and a very limited one at that, with a discontinued OS (Meego). Symbian is also discontinued come 2016, this discussion is really, really old. Just accept that Nokia has been surpassed and won't be coming back too soon, at least not until they get to grips with WP7.5 - and even of that I have serious doubts they will ever recover from their current situation.

Anonymous, 31 Aug 2011since when did google's acquisition of motorola imply that ... more"nokia also provided symbian to other phone companies years ago"

but Nokia kept certain functions proprietary (voip for example). Not speaking about the "Nokia" folder on filesystem in SE or Samsung phones. And logically at the end everyone abandoned Symbian - it should be an example to google what would happen to Android, if they try considering Motorola "special"...

Its why I don't see that many iPhone buyers anymore.

You do realize that 99% of mobile phone users don't give a flying fart about dual cores and more RAM.
Windows Phone will overtake android within a year or so to become the leading platform. Of this I have no doubt whatsoever.

lol @ some of these comments.

USA is the largest mobile market by revenue so, yes, it is pretty important.

And Samsung sells more mobile phones here than anyone. More than Motorola. More than Apple and Blackberry COMBINED.
