Samsung is a company who does not hesitate to rob people.
Thats not very friendly for a bussiness or contract.
No Samsung never.

Only thing you gotta pay attention is to make sure your S8 has a flawless display because there is a larger variance there.

The Pencil is wonderful integrated with the Procreate app. Tilt and pressure inputs are excellent. No hardness as you mentioned. Just great to use. I don't need buttons on the side.
I'd never thought of recommending Apple products, but I've requested my the entire architecture program where I teach to get at least the 2018 iPad with Pencil. The main purpose is digital drawing - I've never come across a better tool THAN something that's twice or 4 times more expensive yet lacking in replicating how a pencil behaves PROPERLY.
A Surface Pro is something I've always wanted and thought would be great, but it is difficult to get, way expensive, no way to be used for INTENSE 3D rendering process, and Procreate on the iPad is way ahead than drawing with Adobe. I'm a Windows user with an Alienware laptop who needs to do some digital drawing and does like Revit and 3DS Max for architecture.
Just look at YouTube artists who used to do intense Wacom based digital art who tried iPad Pro with the Pencil - they totally convinced. Maybe you should blame your skills than the tool.

I have regarded Appl... moreYou obviously don't know what you're talking about, the Pencil has the worst, hardest tip, possibly harder than the hardest of the 4 Surface Pen tip choices, the "HB" is already rubber and I can accept the "H", but the Pencil's is too hard.

S7, S7 Edge>> S8>> S8 Plus, and now.. S series for 2018..
Maybe is not worth to upgrade, S8 is still good phone, and S9 is just a little better in design. Camera.. similar but better in low light, battery, also similar (not to great), display brigther than one in S8 etc.. but i use S9 Exynos version, because Qualcomm is only for US and China like every year.
Also, it's a Samsung, price will soon drop, before one month was like 800$ now is 650$ so yeah.. Only Apple iPhones, from 2017, keeps similiar price long time, for some unknown reason, at least in one part of Europe.

I have regarded Apple's products as mediocre and expensive, until they swallowed their pride and integrated a stylus on their iPads.
I have tried the Pencil numerous times, and it is just so wonderful to use. I'm sold in getting a set after their upcoming announcement this June. I have totally covered the side buttons of my Wacom Pro to prevent accidental presses when I'm rapidly sketching.

Make... moreI don't know about Wacom but the lack of function buttons and lack of friction of the Pencil's plastic tip are dealbreakers, the inking is strangely inconsistent (starts inking ~0.3mm above the glass) also the tilt is not nearly as reliable as I had hoped. I bought one alongside my iPP and now it's eating dust stuck to a charger 24/7, on the other hand I use my Surface Pen(which has a proper tip selection, an incredibly useful side button and eraser) daily.

There's your problem. :)
Try removing both Facebook and Facebook Messenger (and any other app you might have installed from Facebook) and you'll almost guaranteed notice a massive improvement in both performance and battery life.
Facebook has gone all-in data mining with all of their apps the last few years. #DeleteFacebook and be a happier phone user.
You can always access FB though your browser.

Companies like LG are pushing prices way down with decent budget IPS screens. TV's has been going back, generally, for a few years.

That people are buying the S9/S9+ is beyond me.. It looks like the S8 save for a better camera and Snapdragon 845... I'd rather get the S8 for $300 less... I cant believe that its a success..
