Motorola is not bad, even now under Lenovo, but is just same in design like it was in 2013. They have even lower spec than HMD phones(7 Plus). If you wanna good phone from lowend or mid, just buy some of Xiaomi phones from 2018. If you wanna stock Android and don't like custom roms (like MIUI) Redmi 5 Plus, Note 5 supports Treble so no problem. Motorolas is good only in flagship segment, Moto mod is the great stuff but rest.. Not anymore.

Never buy Moto devices. Especially, G series. Look at the state of G5 series on update front. I own Moto G5 Plus. Security patches every 3-4 months, no signs of Oreo still, they are going to release Oreo version 8.0 and not even 8.1, only 1 major upgrade & no bug fixing updates despite the highlighting of issues by customers.

They should've had at least one model with SD636 but the same price as the G6 Plus (while others should be lessened).

It should have had oreo to begin with. The Nokia 6 was released earlier in the year and is a price bracket lower. If you look moto's actual comparable phone to the 6, the g5+, you'll see that it only gets security patches every 3 or four months and is still on nougat.

Who will buy this sh**. Motorola is a confused company which is looking only for profit.When all other brands are giving big batteries and SD636 processor it sticks with SD630 and 3000 mah battery that for higher price than competition. Motorola is going to die soon. It neither has a powerful budget phone nor proper battery phone.It is jack of all trades and master of none. SD 427 with 5000 mah battery with no fast charging worst decision by Motorola that to for a premium price in Inida...lol..

People want a balance of performance and battery. For those that has a G5 Plus or G5S Plus, why would you get a G6 if you're in the U.S.? The SD 625 in the G5 Plus and G5S Plus is more powerful than the 450 in the G6. Also, the X4 at 3GB RAM and 32GB storage was problematic. If Moto was worried about the G6 Plus cutting into Moto X4 sales, sale the 4GB and 6GB versions of the Moto X4 under AndroidOne with Oreo out of the box. Give them Oreo and let U.S. customers be happy with something similar to the G6 Plus? Because the G6 is honestly not worth the money. I have a Z2 Play and saw no need to upgrade. I wish the updates were faster.

I really want to see that Motorola ,Nokia,Sony, Htc,lg to release some budget phones this year to fight with crappy Chinese phones. I agree that they are providing some best phones with best soc and a price that we can afford but they always use crappy design , compromising performance and some of lacks .Still they are selling their best then why our legendary companies cannot do that .

G6 Plus is the "star" which won't be available in the US and only has 3200 mAh battery. Moto seems like they've given up trying to make phones people want to buy. They will soon go the way of HTC. Soon there will be only 2 choices in the US: Samsung or Apple.

If only that price tag was pocket friendly though. Spec wise, this is pretty good for buyers who don't want another Samsung or iPhone.

No ones interested in these new moto devices because their overpriced and their designs are dated.
You can get the Nubia z18 mini which is cheaper than the G6+ but has better specs in every way.

T... moreNo. Their phone from last year are pretty good if only that reduce the price at a reasonable price so that people would buy the Nokia phones, but nevertheless, their Zeiss optic are not as good if they don't apply the Pureview. And their updates is a lot faster than Moto phones like the Nokia 8 that received the Oreo update in August right after the official launch of Oreo.
