Bought one today in the UK for £300 to see what it’s like, so far I prefer it to the Nokia 8 I’ve been using recently, seems to have fewer software quirks. I’ll probably use it for a week then sell it on for a small profit.

this is the your worst nightmare, just imagine you buy an old Honda and it breaks down or you need a part for your car, you just carnt find it anywhere this is exactly the same they don't sell any parts

Who's seriously going to buy a year old phone in the UK when the postage charges are so high and you have to pay potentially pay custom charges as well? It's a strange marketing set up by Essential.

Why it took one year for it ... moreBecause in that countries where it was available from begining, nobody buys any more this phone (50 000 only sold). So their chance is other markets to at least, try. It have unique design, also first phone from 2017 with notch but its rounded and small.

The phone is great and the price is fair. Everything depends on the marketing channels. But the device worths every penny.

A terrific design. But too late to move the needle here, UK. The poor camera is also not gonna cut the mustard. Beautiful design is not enough.
