This will sell like hot cakes. Better than any Xiaomi, Oppo or Nokia. Lenovo is improving their distribution a lot this year. Last year Moto G was the best all time seller on Amazon. Really SOLID and DURABLE phones, unlike Chinese were they put 30 cores but have crap software optimizations and lag like hell after a couple of weeks.

Xiaomi o... moreI don't know know which phones you're talking about, but I'm looking at the Redmi note 5 pro, Mi A2 , Zenfone Max pro and Nubia z18 mini and nokia 7+, all of which are better phones and have their individual perks.
Also, even if there was some 'copycat' phone that I was looking at, even if had a notch, if it has good enough specs, screen camera, etc, I'll still buy it, because when you're looking at a serious budget, you'll have to make some sacrifices to get the best device.

what drives innovation is not money, competition does.
Just certain processor maker swimming in money, milking costumer but still stuck in 4cores and 5% improvement, once the rival came up with just slightly decent product, they got panic and increase core count in mainstream product (still artificialy limit the feature tho)

Stock android or not, I'm not paying for an underspeced phone. I'd rather wait to see what xiaomi, Nokia and huawei can offer later in the year
