Ash, 01 May 2018Anyone who owns this phone;how is the battery life and soft... moreI've been dragging around the 7x's twin the Mate SE for a few weeks now for my work phone.

Definitely a solid phone. Next to my personal S8 active... the battery is almost as good, the screen is almost as good, the camera is almost as good, apps open almost as fast. But is the S8 4 times better like the price says it should be? HECK NO.

If this phone had water and impact resistance I'd be dropping my personal sim in the 2nd slot and only carry one phone. I'd even be willing to give up wireless charging for that convenience.

On paper there a few things people will whine about. No 5ghz WiFi, micro USB, no NFC... blah blah blah. In the real world it's no big deal. The 7x / Mate SE are both rock solid every day phones for people who don't need or want to spend $800+ or get tied to a contract.

Alcatel Pixi 3 4.5, 02 May 2018The Honor will feel honoured. But why buy an average Huawei... moreBecause some people refuse to do business with companies that are hostile to their own customers (if they can avoid it), if all people were like this the companies would have to change their policies

Alcatel Pixi 3 4.5, 02 May 2018The Honor will feel honoured. But why buy an average Huawei... moreThere are people who choose Android over iOS, because they don't like iOS too much. I never felt "comfortable / at home" when using an iOS-device, so I'm not going to buy one. If I liked it, I'd buy an iPhone.

Updates are over rated, updated from 5.1 to 6.0 and it decreased my battery life. Not the only time improvements didn't do what was intended... moral of the story, don't fix it if it ain't broke.

                    Doesn't apply to security updates
