          indian govt must support homegrown Flipkart otherwise it will be amazon monopoly. Look at chinese they don't allow foreign retailers , Alibaba has been successfull only because of Chinese govt

            Walmart offering what? Flipkart, don't do it to yourself; stay independent and become big and strong. Maybe in the near future, you'll turn around and buy some American brands like K-Mart, or the worst retailer in my opinion, Target.

              Anonymous, 02 May 2018How is Flipkarts reputation and do they sell internationally? Its reputation in India is very good.It's India only portal. Amazon is pouring tons of money into its India business from last 3 years but still flipkart is more preferred. But at the end flipkart couldn't withstand the onslaught from Amazon and giving in.

                Anyways i think flipkart ahould remain an Indian co with its seperate existence.... its giving amazon a run for money... walmart or amazon taking over it will be sad for India Inc.

                  Flipkart is an Indian based online selling platform, and have their own courier service. They made online retail popular in India.

                    Monopoly = disaster for consumers.

                      If Flipkart is smart, they won't let themselves be bought by any American. They have so much potential and have a strong presence in the world with the biggest online shopping potential. They literally cannot win anything from such a deal.

                        This is called...
                        Business. (As usual)

                              Flipkart has been providing better and wider serviceability in many areas with cash on delivery facility where Amazon couldn't and still can't. Once Walmart is done with the acquisition, Flipkart will become worse, much like Amazon. What a tragic ending!
