Raj, 02 Sep 2011I could never understand why these blackberry's have such a... morebecause volume sold is negligible.. 99,9999% people buy BB on contract. less sales volume = higher price.
(that formula is not valid for iPhone, cause Apple are above economic laws)

I got the new 9900 in the UK 3 weeks ago. Constant problems, returning it now. Problem logging in to my bb acct; I can sign in online but phone will not recognise my ID or acct.Screen goes dand I cant see, also fails to charge. Very annoyed with my first bb.

This is more sexy than a 5yr old married wife. Dint like the BlackBerry Torch 9800 because of the slide bit of it. But this is killin me so badly. Whats to total cost and when is it hittin the market.

thats an insane amount of money for a phone that only has BBM to brag about. $300 with contract is just WAY TOO EXPENSIVE....

This is really cheap compared to Australia. What are you complaining about. If you need a business phone as opposed to a gaming maching there is only Blackberry to consider.

i have this phone on a 36£ 24month contract with vodafone.
i got a chance to play with the torch side by side.. the difference is huge. the browser speed and pinch to zoom is incredibly fast on 9900. no comparison.
the higher price is justified by the built quality. not a single creek anywhere... i think very soon all torch users will shift to this.
