Twitter asking users to change passwords following bug discovery

Due to the bug, passwords were written to an internal log before completing the hashing process (through which they are masked).

Shouldn't storing unhashed password anywhere be a crime?

I dunno, I don't use twitter much.. Too much drama..

Hashing problems. That's also a problem from Facebook before but it got fixed by minutes.
