Anonymous, 06 May 2018Maybe check out article on Anandtech about Exynos s9 versus... moreLol... read your article again...exynos 8910 manages to finish all tests without heating but the lovely SD 845 overheats and force closes applications..

Anandtech....."I will also add that I encountered a very embarrassing issue on the Snapdragon Galaxy S9+. While testing the sustained performance in the benchmarks the phone suddenly started to quit the app with a warning that the phone was overheating."

They even requested a replacement SD845 unit from Samsung which repeated same overheating and force closing apps in sustained performance...

So exynos 9810 is better than SD845...

This could be true. The link above is where it shows which firmwares are being tested. The current is BRE1. Now the "B" means another Android version. It certainly couldn't be P, but it could be 8.1.

Anonymous, 06 May 2018That could really well be a phone running LineageOS too. Could be. And could be not. You cannot know. ;D

Anonymous, 06 May 2018but 9000 is not 10000Yeah 9000 not 10000. This might be after Oreo 8.1 as gsmarena shows the geekbench score plus I didn’t see this leak of Oreo 8.1 update in other tech site not even in sam mobile site not sure it’s true!. What I know Samsung bring next update with note line, hope this leak is true and Samsung start to follow Apple and Google way when it comes to software update at least 3 update for S line Oreo 8.0, 8.1 and upcoming Android 9.

Don't read if performance tricks bother you but it's behind most others chipsets in performance as well is power hungry. It's a huge oversized soc and is weak in reality.

chester, 06 May 2018My S9 is the best phone...exynos 8910 is better than SD845.... moreNope, it will just blow itself. The limit is a must, there's no way it can maintain the high performance for a longer time like SD845 does with such a rapid power consumption. They must have learned well from Anandtech tests, so the cores scale better this time (or simply don't let the custom cores hit maximum frequency, but a few hundred MHz below) and tune the CPU governor. Note that this is still only considering the performance alone, performance per watt, which is more important, might or might not improve.

It could very well be Lineage OS or Resurrection Remix, they're both available for S9/S9+ and run Android 8.1. Nothing in that pic shows it's an official ROM out for testing
