By current standards, this is still more like a $150 or less phone,... I know it's Nokia but it's not the 3310; if you drop this phone it will break pretty much like any modern phone and the OS isn't sleeker or faster than what huawei or xiaomi have today...

The difference with Chinese brand and Finland brand is that Chinese brand try to sell phones globally and Nokia want to be in Chinese and Indian market only. Rest of the world will not get the new phones on release date. So makes no difference is it a Chinese phone or not.

AnonD-731363, 07 May 2018WTF man even an apple is chiinese because its made in china... moreApple dont make phone for specifically Indian or China marker and dont wait a half a year to a year when releases a global version. Nokia should release global version on day one and not wait when they have made profit first and then sell it to the rest of the world. That makes Nokia more of a Chinese phone then any other good old brand.
And it does not matter who own the brand name and where it's roots from. It does not matter that HMD is Finnish and workers are Finnish too if they dont make phones for global market and concentrate Chinese and Indian market first and then some models dont even get global version ever.
And i dont need to do research as i live in Estonia that is neighbor country for Finland and we have similar languages. I have had over 20 phones in 25 years and only 3-4 of them have not been Nokia. Dont talk about Nokia quality like it's something special. I cant make difference on build quality of my last Lumia 830 and my Leagoo Kiicaa Mix that i own right now.
