Just needs 2GB RAM, a screen as good as a Motorola Moto G 2nd Generation, a rear camera as good as an iPhone 6, and a front camera as good as an iPhone 6S. The price needs to be double to pay for all these improvements.

Just kidding. Some manufacturers either don't want to put @treble or too lazy to just flash Oreo.

Please Panasonic start making better mobile phone with better processors. Please also stop using obsolete mediatek processor and out dated snapdragon series. its better to stick with the latest processor series of either companies.

Really Redmi 5A raised the bar of lower range phone that every other manufacture is tried and failed to break thru..!

I can uderstand you can't expect much for this price, but damn...this is going to be extra laggy.

When MT6737 is built by Qualcomm, it becomes Snapdragon 212. Not really bad if it sells for $50 or less, for $75 it's too expensive.
