      AnonD-603286, 11 May 2018Countdown to any of these phones being "hacked" and all the... moreI guess you know about crypto only from your news channels and you have no understanding what is hard wallet. :) The chance you are talking about would be many times smaller than the chance of hacking some of the most famous wallets or exchanges out there.

              as for Rooting? why would you want to root a superencrypted phone that would carry your digital money?
              technically. it is rootable. question is: why would you?

                Anonymous, 10 May 2018lol this is oldOld by what means? SD845 is the strongest offer from Qualcomm.

                  I am proud in SirinLabs. as Originally it's an israeli company. that moved to switzerland.
                  Few things to note: the back is obviously gorgeous. but the front has one of the UGLIEST NOTCHES I've EVER seen! o_O;

                      Design is great, not everyday copycat. May have something similar here and there, but overall its unique. Back kinda remind of old Nokia 3510.

                          I'd pay $850 max for this.

                                The fact that this is a Sirin phone, does it have 802.11ad just like their SD821 Sirin phone from last year? Having 802.11ad on a phone is a very big deal for Qualcomm to flaunt it compared to Apple's processors that only handle 802.11ac.

                                    Alien , 10 May 2018Two questions : - does it come with an SD card slot? - ... moreHonestly, if you're trying to get a phone with microSD and rootability, then this isn't the phone for it, das it's expensive and is main purpose is to be able to store cryptocurrency. Therefore, it's security is like an Apple iPhone. I'd recommend the Galaxy S9+ instead

                                      Block Chain Technologies probably useful in some enterprise workflow systems with fairly standard set of processes and workflows. It can be useful in some regulatory areas such as medical, credit approvals, again enterprise scale and business use cases.

                                      Crypto currencies are the best implementation of BC for ordinary folks. But to be part of the BC and be a miner you need different computational powers. BC sync might impact battery and data consumption.

                                      I am not sure how this getting integrated into a mobile will be a useful thing beyond wallets.

                                      Hope this is not one of those crowdfunding Indigogo projects that invariably ends up as did.

                                      $999 mobiles requires support ecosystem across the globe with immediate delivery of services.

                                      BTW, the mobile looks great imo
